Whakamaru Pump Services has been operating in the western Taupo / South Waikato region since 1982 providing design, installation, maintenance and repairs in the rural water reticulation field.

Specialized services include supply, installation and repairs to;

• Deep-well bore pumps (from mechanical gearing type to submersibles)
• Pressure pumps (including piston, diaphragm and centrifugal) to suit situations from house pressure systems to full farm reticulation including dairy shed water requirements.

We carry a large stock of spare parts, pipe fittings, valves etc to enable prompt breakdown repairs.

Our main focus is to supply;

• Quality products and workmanship
• Efficient and reliable pumping systems
• Designs with ease of future maintenance a priority

About Us

Matthew

Joined the company in 2010 after completing polytech welding and engineering courses and has expertise in pumping system installation and repairs as well as engineering fabrication and repairs.

In 2016 moved to Taihape where he continued to develop his water management skills with Rangitikei District Council. Firstly as a Reticulation Serviceman and more recently as a Treatment Officer.

Matthew with his partner Libby purchased Whakamaru Pump Services in April 2021 and moved with their son Ernie to Whakamaru. Libby juggles managing the accounts with being a mum.

They plan is to continue to deliver high quality products and workmanship to their valued customers. With great communication being a priority.
